Перший сезон реаліті-шоу з татуюванням «Ink Master» дебютував на каналі Spike 17 січня і завершився 6 березня 2012 року, налічивши загалом 8 епізодів. Ведучим і суддею шоу виступив гітарист гурту Jane's Addiction Дейв Наварро, а постійними суддями стали досвідчені тату-майстри Кріс Нуньєс та Олівер Пек. Переможець отримав приз у розмірі 100 000 доларів, статтю в журналі Inked та титул «Ink Master».
