Пенелопа Мурікі (Смарагда Каріді) працює прибиральницею в поліцейській дільниці, у Дирекції з боротьби зі злочинами проти життя грецької поліції. Одного разу вночі вона випадково натрапляє на деталі нещодавньої справи про вбивство. Вона читає їх і втручається у висновки слідства, вносячи дуже важливі виправлення. Наступного ранку лейтенант Аргіріс Калатзіс (Нікос Куріс) і керівниця відділу Софія Харітакі (Маруска Панагіотопулу) помічають її втручання, викликають її для пояснень і отримують великий сюрприз. Вони виявляють, що Пенелопа наділена дуже високим інтелектом і має IQ 160! Начальниця, вражена здібностями Пенелопи, змушує неохочого лейтенанта поліції Калатзіса співпрацювати з талановитою прибиральницею.
