Суддя окружного суду Аліція Мазур відома своєю суворістю до злочинців. Вона успішна жінка з процвітаючою кар'єрою та щасливим сімейним життям. Несподівано її звинувачують у вбивстві, якого вона не вчиняла, і засуджують до 15 років ув'язнення. Вона має вижити у в'язниці серед жінок, яких раніше засуджувала.
